The archaeological assessment (monitoring) of the developments Phase 1 area was carried out in September 2018. The overall landscape within which the proposed development is located should be considered as having high archaeological potential. The majority of the excavated archaeological sites were previously unrecorded and had no surface expression.

Monitoring revealed no evidence of any features or deposits of an archaeological nature within the Phase 1 area.
