Monitoring was undertaken in advance of the construction of a two-storey extension to the rear of 3, Day Place, Tralee, Co. Kerry. The site is located within the zone of archaeological potential encompassing the historic town of Tralee. Monitoring of groundworks was carried out in two Phases. Phase 1 took place in October 2018 when two foundation trenches were excavated under archaeological supervision. Nothing of archaeological interest was noted during monitoring works.
