A small excavation of features discovered during previous licensed testing by the author at the proposed development site in 2013 (Licence No. 13E0099) was undertaken at the end of February 2018. The opened sub-rectangular excavation area measured c.4.5m x 5.5m. Twelve features were identified and excavated comprising of eleven stake-hole/post-hole features and one linear feature that proved to be a furrow. Some small splodges of in-situ burning were discernible within the area encompassing the stake-holes. No artefacts were recovered during excavation.
