Testing in advance of the construction of a single dwelling house close to castle KE014-035, at Rathmorrel, Causeway, Co. Kerry, did not reveal any archaeological features, deposits or finds. Topsoil directly overlay natural glacial till and there was no evidence that the land had ever been used for anything other than agriculture.
