The archaeological monitoring of the excavation of groundworks associated with the construction of new pathways and kerbing at the ‘Little Mill’, Tuam, revealed no features of archaeological significance. A stone surface was revealed along the path to the Miller’s House, however this was not disturbed and would appear to date to the 19th–20th century. Archaeological monitoring of the excavations in the area of the mill wheel recorded some metal fragments however these appear to be modern in date.
