The archaeological monitoring of the excavation of groundworks associated with the construction of new pathways and kerbing at the ‘Little Mill’, Tuam, revealed no features of archaeological significance. A stone surface was revealed along the path to the Miller’s House, however this was not disturbed and would appear to date to the 19th-20th century. Archaeological monitoring of the excavations in the area of the mill wheel recorded some metal fragments however these appear to be modern in date.
