An aracheological evalaution was carried out ahead of the proposed construction of a 5-turbine wind farm at Tieges Mountain, Co. Fermanagh.

Monitoring of the excavation of the areas of the hardstands, turbine bases, access roads, a substation, a compound and cable trenches was carried out. Topsoil within these areas was removed using a back-acting machine fitted with a toothless bucket.

No archaeological deposits were identified during the course of the monitoring.
