Archaeological monitoring was carried out between 16 April and 27 July 2018, during topsoil-stripping on the site for a new housing development on a 3.65 hectare greenfield site at Chapel Road, Kinsealy, Co. Dublin.
The site was near a ruined medieval church (DU015-002001-) and graveyard (DU015-002002-), but nothing related to these was found. No archaeological structures, features or deposits were found during monitoring. Finds comprised two prehistoric flints (a thumbnail scraper and a concavo-convex flake), some clay-pipe fragments and post-medieval and modern pottery.
