Monitoring was carried out of groundworks associated with the development of a warehouse/logistic building (Units D4-7) at Horizon Logistics Park, which is located within the townland of Merryfalls, St. Margaret’s, Swords, County Dublin. The works were carried out in response to planning conditions attached to the development (Planning Ref.: F17A/0240). It follows a previous assessment carried out by Dr Karen Dempsey, May 2017.
All topsoil stripping was subject to archaeological supervision. No features of archaeological potential were identified during the course of the works.
