An archaeological assessment was undertaken at c. 0.3 hectare site in Glebe North townland at Stephenstown Industrial Estate to the south-west of Balbriggan in north County Dublin. A total of 3 test trenches were excavated across the site with a combined length of 166.5m. Topsoil was consistent across the site and ranged in depth from 0.34-0.38m. Subsoil comprised a compact light orange/brown stony clay. No archaeological features, deposits, layers or objects were recorded in the course of testing.
