This fulacht fiadh was identified during a pre-development assessment (17E0608) in advance of a residential development. A 40m x 30m area was mechanically stripped of topsoil to reveal thin deposits of black clay with frequent heat-shattered stone. These were excavated to fully expose five pits/troughs. No artefacts were recovered.
