Monitoring was undertaken for the construction of a 30.3m fibre cement-clad single story granny flat with a separate entrance.
The site is located within the zone of archaeological potential of the DU023-023 (town of Dalkey), Planning ref D17A/0964. Part of Corrig Road in Dalkey is included in the village's Architectural Conservation Area, up as far as Number 12.
All ground works were monitored. The foundation trench measured 0.45m in depth and 1m in width. The ground had been disturbed previously. No archaeology was identified.
