Test trenching was undertaken on the lands at Ballyoran House, Old Mill Grove, Dundonald, County Down. Five test trenches were opened. It was clear from the test trenches that the site had been subject to cut and fill phases during both the building of Ballyoran House in 1878 and the recent development some time in 2009. Nothing of an archaeological nature was uncovered within any of the test trenches.
