Archaeological monitoring of an open cut trench ahead of the installation of a new 355mm polyethylene gas main within the townland of Ballynashallog, County Londonderry was undertaken along c.60m of an existing laneway to the east of Culmore Road and within the Historic Demesne at Thornhill.

No archaeological features or artefacts were noted during the monitoring of ground works.
