A residential development was partially constructed on this site approximately 8 years ago. Much of the western part of the site remaining undeveloped from that time. Six test trenches were excavated across the western undeveloped part. No features or finds of archaeological significance were revealed. During field walking in advance of testing a leveled burnt spread was noted in an previously disturbed area adjoining a buffer zone for a holy well (CO099-027). The exposed part of the spread measured 23.2m north-north-east/south-south-west by 12.4m.
