Twenty-one trenches were mechanically excavated across the proposed development site in advance of the construction of a large residential development. Geophysical survey was previously undertaken on the site. No features or finds of archaeological significance were revealed. The area of the leveled fulacht fiadh was not investigated and will be preserved in situ within a buffer zone.
