Four test trenches were excavated across the site of a proposed dwellinghouse and associated site works, in advance of a planning application. An enclosure, of which no visible surface trace now survives, is recorded some 30m east of the proposed dwelling. Four trenches were excavated across the proposed development site. Two linear ditches were found. One was a field boundary which, on cartographic evidence, was built in the late nineteenth century; the second is believed to be of the same date.
