A monitoring condition was placed on planning granted for an extension to a caravan park. This was due to the proximity of three recorded monuments, a ringfort and two souterrains. The site consisted of a steep sided, sheltered valley facing Tragumna Bay to the west. A small stream runs along its base. Between 0.2m and 0.3m of a mid-brown sandy loam overlay a gravelly, orange/brown boulder clay. Noticeably dark areas were the result of manganese present in the bedrock. Only the southern half of the site was completed in order to preserve grass for grazing. No archaeology was found.
