Monitoring took place of groundworks at a development site at the existing MSD Plant, Brinny, Co. Cork on 6 and 7 March 2018. This is based on a second phase of work under the same planning reference. The first phase comprised works to an existing un-serviced shell building (B21) and monitoring of the construction of a temporary contractor’s compound and car park to the north-west of same (Monitoring Report, October 2017, Excavations Bulletin No. 2017:376).
This report relates to the extension of the existing contractors compound (to the south) to facilitate additional car parking spaces. Nothing of archaeological interest was found.
