Monitoring was carried out on 29 January 2018, within the townland of Old Abbey, Co. Cork, as part of a wider Archaeological Impact Assessment for the proposed construction of a single dwelling-house. The site is 90m west of CO085-080001-, a church at the site of a 15th-century Augustinian Nunnery/Abbey. Building works had commenced and the centre of the site cleared prior to archaeological monitoring commencing. Therefore, only the percolation area could be monitored and all other cuttings inspected.
