Monitoring of the excavations associated with the development of the Letteragh windfarm encountered no features and/or finds of archaeological significance. During excavations it was evident that the area had been previously disturbed through afforestation. The internal roads were widened and monitoring of these excavations recorded no features and/or finds of archaeological significance. The stratigraphy encountered throughout the development was comprised of varying depths of peat overlying the natural clay and/or rock. Maximum depths of peat (3m) were recorded in the areas of turbine 3 and 5 with minimum depths recorded at turbines 1 and 6.
