Monitoring of a single test pit for site investigation works as part of a waste water treatment plant upgrade was undertaken at Kilfenora, Co. Clare. The pit was located within the zone of notification of three recorded monuments, a tower-house (CL016-011001), lime kiln (CL016-011003), and a bawn (CL016-011002). No archaeology was found.
