Monitoring was carried out in relation to the proposed development of a retail and residential development at lands between Wardsborough Road, Railway Street and Market Square, Lisburn. Monitoring of ground reduction works and excavation of trenches for utilities was undertaken. This revealed light orange/brown silty sand subsoil which has uncovered at varied depths across the site. No archaeological features were identified during works.
