An archaeological evaluation was carried out prior to the proposed construction of a residential development on lands to the north of nos 7-14 Glenwood Green and nos 114-116 Killown Grange, Lisburn.
This evaluation deals with Phase 1 of the project. A series of 30 trenches were excavated across the area of Phase 1 as well as in the area of the roundabout and to facilitate an area for topsoil storage and a site compound.
No archaeological deposits were identified during the course of the evaluation.
