An archaeological evaluation was carried out prior to the proposed construction of a residential development on lands at 12 Carncome Road, Connor.
A total of 6 test trenches were excavated by mechanical digger fitted with a toothless bucket. These ranged in depth from 1–2.1m and all contained modern fill material overlying naturally occurring subsoil which was an orange sandy clay. The foundations of the former dwelling located here were identified within Trenches 4 and 5.
No archaeological deposits were identified during the course of the evaluation.
