Monitoring of ground disturbance associated with upgrade works at the Enniscorthy Waste Water Treatment Plant, Co. Wexford, did not reveal any archaeological features, deposits or finds. Further monitoring of works at the St John’s Pumping Station outfall and the Esmonde Road sewer was not carried out, due to an oversight by the main contractor, however an examination of photographs taken during construction suggest that no archaeological deposits were disturbed.
