Testing was required as part of the planning process for a single house development in the village of Castletowngeoghan. The site is close to a moated site, WM032-015. Testing was undertaken along the road and the house site. A fragment of medieval pottery was recorded at the north of the development in an area of dumped material. This appears to have been washed into the site from the road. No other finds or features were uncovered during the works.
