Testing was carried out within the route of the proposed Kilbarry Distributor Road, Waterford City between 10–15 November 2017. No archaeological features were exposed or identified along the route of the proposed Kilbarry Distributor Road, apart from a number of features associated with a burnt mound or fulacth fiadh which were exposed within Field 11 at Kilbarry 1. A number of possible pits (F003-F006) were identified together with a portion of a possible burnt spread (F007) which extends outside the proposed distributor road to the north.
