Testing was carried out within the route of the proposed Gracedieu Access Road, Waterford City, between 10–15 November 2017. One test trench was excavated within Field 1 and four were excavated within Field 2. No archaeological features or deposits were identified.

All trenches were excavated to the subsoil and the assessment concluded that the area tested was devoid of archaeology.
