Located south of the walled town of Waterford, west of the site of medieval Augustinian abbey (WA09-005029) the development of this protected structure (NIAH ref 22504432) involved the demolition of the existing pair of single-storey extensions and replacing them with a single 2-storey extension to the rear of the house. 4 test trenches were excavated on the lines of the proposed foundations. The up-cast was also spread out for examination for finds. No archaeological features or finds were exposed.
