Monitoring was undertaken of a house site at Gorteeshal, Ballyporeen, Co. Tipperary as part of granted planning permission. The house site is located on the eastern edge of Ballyporeen village. A large ringfort occupies the field immediately to the north of the house site. No archaeological findings were uncovered in the course of the monitoring works. Other than the presence of agricultural furrows, the site was featureless.
