Monitoring of geotechnical site investigations was undertaken over a period of eight days from 8 November 2017. The monitoring was undertaken in compliance with a condition of planning. The excavation of 54 trenches was moniotored. Not all of the geotechnical testing was completed in the time scale allocated with the remainder of the works to be undertaken in 2018. The site investigation trenches generally measured 3-5m in length x 1m in width and were excavated to varying depths up to 4m deep.

Nothing of archaeological significance was encountered in any of the areas monitored.
