Four trenches were excavated within the footprint of the proposed development. Substantial areas within the proposed development site are already under concrete and, having been previously disturbed, were not tested. In all trenches the topsoil was removed onto the natural boulder clay. No archaeological features or deposits were recorded and the only finds recovered consisted of modern ceramics in the topsoil.
