Three trial trenches were excavated at the site of a proposed orangery at Partry House, a building in the Georgian style with earlier fabric possibly associated with Cloonlagheen Castle and a 17th-century dower house. A small area of paving, comprising flat smoothed flags of possible 19th-century date, was discovered in one of the trenches, perpendicular to the eastern wall of the main house. There were no other features or finds discovered.
