A total of 5 test trenches were to be excavated within the site of the proposed development in accordance with the agreed method statement, however only 4 where excavated because part of the site is currently under a hard standing area and a considerable amount of building rubble. The test trenching was carried out on 21 July 2017. No archaeological features or deposits were recorded within the excavated trenches.
