Monitoring of the mechanical excavation of a number of pits to install anode bags took place at four locations around Kilkenny city including No. 37 Parliament Street (IITM 650427/656204), James Street (ITM 650257/655896) and Parnell Street (ITM 650330/655703) in March 2017. All the locations exposed modern infilled material with no archaeology noted.
