Monitoring and metal detection (underl icence 17R0224) took place on 7 October 2017. Topsoil stripping was undertaken using a toothless ditching bucket. Spoil was spread and searched using a metal detector. The depth of topsoil removed ranged from 0.35m to 0.45m. No features, materials or artefacts of archaeological significance were uncovered during groundworks at the site.
