Test excavations were undertaken with regard to a planning application to construct fifteen dwelling houses and ancillary site services at Fortfield, Killierisk, Tralee, Co. Kerry. A series of three roughly east-west-running test trenches 1m in width and c.10m spacing, were excavated across the available footprint of the site with negative results.
