2017:079 - BRANDONWELL, Kerry

Test excavations were undertaken with regard to a planning application to construct a farm building comprising a slatted unit with underground slurry tanks and ancillary concrete farmyard at Brandonwell, Ardfert, Co. Kerry. The proposed development site partially extends within the north-east limits of the zone of notification of enclosure KE020-056. A series of four east-west running test trenches (T1–T4), 2m in width and 10m spacing, were excavated across the footprint of the proposed farm building, all with negative results.
