Monitoring of advanced works for proposed Irish Water Service water pipe upgrades, and expansion of an existing Water Treatment Plant were carried out on behalf of ARUP CE Ltd. The ground investigation works included boreholes and slit trenches. All ground investigation works were chosen with consideration as to minimising the risk to archaeological remains. No known archaeological material was affected by the proposed ground investigation works. No archaeological remains were identified during the monitoring of site works.
