Archaeological monitoring was carried out at St Anne’s Golf Links, North Bull Island, Dublin 5 as the site was to have development work carried out within it, and due to the site’s location in an area of archaeological potential. The site is located on North Bull Island, Dollymount, Dublin 5. The work consisted of monitoring the footprint of a golf course toilet and new practice area. The work was undertaken in October 2017.
This investigation exposed no archaeological features, nor are any likely to survive within the development area. Consequently, it is recommended that the development be allowed to proceed without further archaeological mitigation.
