Further monitoring was undertaken for the Luas Cross City Heritage Works from 9-28 February 2017. Work involved the reinstatement of the Lady Grattan Fountain to the Junction of St. Stephen's Green North and Dawson Street. This necessitated the diversion of an existing watermain to facilitate the excavation of a foundation trench for the new fountain plinth. No archaeological finds or features were recorded.
