A total of three linear test trenches comprising 26m in length were excavated. The trenches proved that the entire development area consists of reclaimed land, which is made up of a number of deposits of sand, stone and hardcore measuring more than 1.5m in depth. No features, finds or deposits of archaeological significance were found in any of the test trenches, nor within a scan of the topsoil from these trenches.
