31 GI Trial Pits were monitored along the proposed route of the A6 road from Drumahoe to Dungiven, Co. Londonderry from November 2016 to January 2017. No archaeological material was uncovered in any of the GI Trial Pits. ITM: E 646643 N 914597 (Drumahoe), E668697 N 909263 (Dungiven), E 656521 N 911376 (centre point).
