Monitoring of topsoil removal associated with the construction of a dwelling house at Curraghnalaght, Coolowen, Blarney, Co. Cork was undertaken in September 2017 on foot of a condition of planning permission. The site is not located within any zones of notification, however, the nearest monument is located c. 74m to the south-west and consists of a cropmarked enclosure (CO062-233). No finds or features of archaeological significance were uncovered on the site during monitoring.
