Testing within the footprint of the proposed house and percolation area at Ballincrokig, White’s Cross, Co. Cork did not reveal the presence of any potential archaeological features within the excavated trenches. The development site is located c. 53m south-west of a standing stone (CO063-070) of which no visible trace remains. No archaeological features or deposits potentially relating to the nearby monument were exposed in the test trenches.
