Archaeological geophysics carried out in this field in 2011 revealed a leveled enclosure and a number of other anomalies of limited archaeological potential. Testing was carried out on these anomalies. No trenches were excavated within 20m of the leveled enclosure. A number of shallow ditches (up to 0.3m in depth) suggest the presence of earlier land divisions or drainage features and a number of burnt tree roots were identified. No features or finds of archaeological significance were revealed.
