Test excavation was undertaken as part of an archaeological assessment of this site which is adjacent to RMP CL033-074: an 18th/19th-century domestic residence potentially on the site of an earlier 17th-century house. Four test trenches were excavated which demonstrated that the site displays a uniform stratigraphy unbroken by an features of archaeological origin.
