Archaeological monitoring took place of a topsoil strip (watching brief) at the location of eight polesets placed in an area of archaeological potential at Granagh and Copney, County Tyrone. The single poles have a ground footprint of approximately 2m x 1m and H poles have a footprint of 3m x 1m. Trenches were excavated by mini-digger fitted with a toothless ditching bucket. Nothing of archaeological significance was identified in any of the test trenches.
