An archaeological evaluation was undertaken ahead of the proposed construction of a 20m telecommunications mast on lands 170m north of 49 West Street, Stewartstown, Dungannon, Co. Tyrone.

Monitoring of topsoil stripping and excavation of 2 test trenches was carried out using a back-acting machine fitted with a toothless bucket to the levels of naturally occurring subsoil. No archaeological deposits were identified during the course of the evaluation.
